I really wanted to choreo to this song. Maybe I still do, but I really like this choreo to it. Ever since I saw it, I was kinda intimidated to try to do that song. It happens a lot with other songs that I wanted to do too, but I still kinda still wanna do this song.

This is so crazy. I really wish I could dance like this. I also would like to do a project kinda like this too. I really like the style behind this. Dirtiness and all, oddly enough. I wish I could do a song like this, haha.

So I performed at Long Beach Dragon Boat Festival on Sunday, and it was quite fun. All of our efforts put into this, and I think it turned out quite well.

Summer Songolongs

The majority of us represent a variety of dance teams in and around Irvine and UCI, but really we’re all just a bunch of friends that love to dance and agreed to do a fun performance together this summer. A lot of our dance teams in Irvine are all dancing with the same passion; simply put, we just love to dance with the people we love because we don’t dance to impress, we dance to inspire. Shoutouts to all the dance teams that are probably at Hip Hop Internationals, but thanks to Common Ground, Level 5 and MCIA: “CG, you know!” “Ohana means Level 5,” and “MCIA-All Love.”

I’m always inspired by Keone’s style. The songs he uses are always somewhat unexpected to me. Songs that seem difficult to choreo to, or just something out there. Yet his moves are so precise, smooth, and have such control. Crazy musicality.

So. I’ve spent all day trying to choreo so far. It’s really hard. I feel inspired and all, but then I start doing it and I’m like, what can I do next? But I’m gonna do it! Despite procrastinating right now!

I had my last class of SI on Thursday and I enjoyed quite so. Maybe it’s because I feel like it was more of my style somewhat or something, but I thought it was really fun and thought the choreo was pretty cool. Linh and Mai Linh were kinda whatever about it, so maybe it was because it was my style? Ah well. Apparently, a friend of mines, Hai Truong, used to be on Poreotix and I asked Can, the choreographer about him. Can said that Hai taught Can. What a strange coincidence! I always knew Hai was really good, but I never expected him to be THAT good.

Oh how the world astounds me..
